When we change our thoughts, we change our lives!
mental Health
According to the World health Organization (WHO), mental health is
Well-Being
The CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention notes there is no consensus on a single definition of “well-being”. Well-being can be understood as how people feel and how they function, both on a personal and a social level, and how they evaluate their lives as a whole. (New Economic Foundation, 2012)
Can you imagine one full day without worrying?
That may seem impossible, but worrying doesn’t solve problems. When we put our focus on worry, we are robbing ourselves of the beauty in that moment. Worrying can even keep us from seeing the solution. Action and worry seem to contradict each other.
Emotional Responsibility
“You are the reason we are lost!””You make me so mad.” “You humiliated me in front of my co-workers.”
Making “you” statements during an argument is not only counterproductive to understanding others, but also these statements are not completely truthful… or fully accurate. Only you control your emotions… not someone else. Basically, you are giving away your power when allowing someone’s words or actions to control how you feel.
A Better Solution: “I Statements”
